Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate a multidisciplinary team delivering therapy services to children and youth in school and community settings. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, providing psychosocial assessments and support, facilitating access to community resources, advocating for client needs, and ensuring quality service delivery. Must possess strong communication skills and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Candidates should have leadership experience and a robust understanding of child development and family systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) or a related discipline
- A registered member of the BC college of social workers
- Minimum four (4) years of recent, related clinical experience in pediatric or family-centered practice
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory or leadership experience in an interdisciplinary or unionized environment preferred
- Strong understanding of child development, educational environments, and family systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of roles, scopes of practice, and professional standards of OTs, PTs, and SLPs
- Skilled in collaboration and relationship-building with families, educators, and community partners
- Proficient with electronic health records and data management systems
