Job Summary
Supervisor of Supervised Visitation Services lead and support a team of Visitation Specialists serving children and families involved in complex custody, child welfare, and family court matters. Provide reflective supervision, coaching, and operational leadership to ensure trauma-informed, humanity-centered practices, staff development, and high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with courts, funders, and internal stakeholders to promote coordinated case planning and positive outcomes for children and families. Manage staff scheduling, caseload oversight, documentation review, data management, and timecard approvals; participate in hiring and onboarding; monitor program performance through data collection and quality improvement initiatives; provide leadership in crisis situations and in absence of the Program Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services required (e.g., social work, psychology, human development)
- minimum 3 years’ experience working with at-risk children, youth, and families
- minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a human services setting preferred
- Candidates without a degree may be considered with 5+ years of relevant experience
- valid NYS driver’s license with required insurance
- successful completion of all required background checks and clearances
