Supervisor of Stores Contract Maintenance

Job Summary
Oversee contract Stores operations by providing direct supervision to ensure Contract Maintenance Providers execute efficiently on receipt, storage, issuance, transfer, and shipment of aviation materials. Train EMP teams on stockroom operations, including computerized material management, hazmat and shelf life protocols, cycle counting, and proper disposal of hazardous materials. Audit stores processes to verify compliance with PSA policies and participate in delivery of new training requirements. Manage project functions for planned physical inventories, annual tool calibration, and metric development for cycle count accuracy and fill rates. Lead DOD and IATA audits while maintaining the Security and Safety Management System. Requires a high school diploma, two years in inventory management, a valid driver's license, and airport SIDA badging. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits and travel privileges on the American Airlines global network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience inventory management, materials control or supply chain
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift weight up to 50 lbs
- Must pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Technical Degree
- At least two years of facility maintenance experience
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity
