Supervisor of Placement and Allocation

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day activities for organ placement systems in the donor service area, including initial and surgical recovery elements, donor management, and organ distribution logistics. Provide clear direction to team members regarding duties and performance expectations while collaborating on daily donor case activities, assignments, and reassignments. Supervise assigned staff by conducting monthly performance reviews, administering corrective action plans, and facilitating recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes. Maintain regular office hours alongside rotating on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staffing for donor activity. Conduct root cause analyses, oversee quality improvement initiatives, and participate in clinical case reviews to identify operational trends and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified EMT-B or LVN or completion of an accredited clinical healthcare program resulting in certification, registry, or licensure
- Knowledge of OPO standards and OPTN policy
- Current Driver's License with an acceptable driving record as defined by STA policy
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical OPO or allocation
- Prior leadership experience
