Supervisor of Maintenance Vendor Operations

Job Summary

Oversee third-party maintenance providers to ensure contractual obligations are met, operational performance expectations are achieved, and FAA regulations are followed. Monitor vendor performance, contribute to KPI development, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Assist in creating Airworthiness Agreements and Letters of Procedural Authority, compile reports, and maintain key documentation. Facilitate the addition of fueling and on-call maintenance providers to the Learning Management System and review third-party maintenance invoices for accuracy. Keep senior management apprised of potential negative conditions affecting aircraft maintenance and ground operations. Submit monthly Maintenance Provider List updates and assist ground operations and safety departments as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
  • Experience with management and administration of service contracts and agreements.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with Vendor Management and Contracts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and M&E software.
  • Must possess or have ability to possess U.S. passport or equivalent within 90 days.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging, Hazmat Shipping Certification and the ability to become a Hazmat trainer
  • Must be able to pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to lift weight up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to stand

  • Must be able to use hands to handle or feel
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree in Engineering, Aviation, Business Administration, or closely related discipline.
  • Experience with program management.
