Job Summary
Oversee daily logistics, transportation, and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective delivery. Manage team performance, staffing assignments, and workload distribution while coaching, mentoring, and resolving attendance or performance concerns. Direct drivers and logistics workflows to maximize delivery routes, maintain vehicle standards, and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and safety policies. Monitor shipment exceptions, including delays, damages, and temperature excursions, by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional pharmacy and operations leaders to align workflows, optimize fulfillment strategies, and support seamless patient experiences. Generate regular reports to finance and leadership on delivery cost reduction strategies and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Two (2) years of experience in lieu of degree
- Four (4) years of pharmacy technician experience in a high-volume pharmacy
- Four (4) years of logistics experience
- One (1) year of progressive leadership/management responsibility
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and work cross functionally
- Leadership skills to include training, coaching, listening and conflict management
- Ability to apply problem-solving methodology to logistical problems and service schedules
- Ability to research and utilize novel platforms to aid in problem solving
- Excellent analytical and process management skills
