Supervisor of Insurance Collections

Provide immediate supervision, training, and coaching for Insurance Collections Specialists and Medical Records & Appeals Specialists. Monitor weekly productivity, ensure adequate staffing with time-off approvals, and lead training on updated processes. Process outstanding insurance claims to resolution, track appeals, and coordinate benefit coverage issues. Review Explanation of Benefits documents to validate overpayments and support refund decisions while ensuring compliance with federal and payer-specific regulations. Research and resolve issues related to incorrect or duplicate payments, and prepare reports for revenue cycle leaders. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient financial and protected health information.
