Job Summary
Supervise Independent Living Coordinators, Navigators, and Administrative Assistants to ensure program compliance with best practices, accreditation standards, and state laws. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, conduct supervisory reviews in the Florida Safe Family Network System, and coordinate service implementation with the Director. Assist clients with counseling and transition plans while leading certification preparation and training initiatives for your team. Represent the agency on the Council on Accreditation Peer Review team, community social services committees, and in external presentations. Maintain high professional standards through ongoing education and policy updates. Requires Bachelor's in social work, Child Protective Professional Certification, and ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations and 65% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work and/or related field
- Minimum of three years' experience in the social services field
- Master's in social work (MSW) and/or related field preferred
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the organization's employment and service population
- Child Protective Professional Certification
- Current Background Clearance Screening Letter
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to be insured by agency's current insurance carrier
- Ability to meet Organizational Required Competency standards
- Excellent risk assessment skills, including the ability to recognize abuse indicators
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Good working knowledge of the Florida Child Welfare system and community resources
- Effective public speaking skills
- Excellent mentoring skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including being on call
- Ability to travel up to 65%
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must carry company provided smart phone with data plan for business communications during and outside business hours
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
