Job Summary
Assess and monitor in-service training programs for pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten staff while providing direct supervision of in-district and community Early Childhood Programs through regular classroom visitations, observations, and evaluations. Confer with teachers, counselors, and teams to determine if program goals are met, assist in student registration, and develop, evaluate, and improve teaching techniques and curriculum. Supervise instructional materials inventory, participate in teacher recruitment and selection, and direct professional growth through staff meetings and individual conferences. Analyze pre- and post-test data, maintain program records, and coordinate interactions between schools and the Division. Implement and monitor instructional and fiscal programs plans, maintain relationships with community agencies, and evaluate tenured personnel through observation and report reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Valid supervisor's certificate or certificate of eligibility
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in the area of public school education, with related experiences in teaching
- Administration or communication skills
- Required criminal history background check
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
