Job Summary
Lead childcare center operations and partnerships with the Manager to support daily operations, staff development, family engagement, and regulatory compliance. Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to teachers and childcare staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management; help with classroom management, curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and developmental best practices. Build strong relationships with families through effective communication and responsive service. Support licensing reviews, audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives; maintain staff credentials and program standards. Step into leadership responsibilities in the Manager's absence and contribute to shaping a positive, collaborative culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required
- Minimum one (1) year of leadership experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a licensed or registered childcare facility required
- Current status on the Early Childhood Practitioner Registry and successful completion of Teacher Orientation ARM37.95.163 required
- Successful completion of sixty (60) hours of infant/toddler and sixty (60) hours of preschool coursework preferred
