Job Summary
Assist providers in delivering quality health care to customer-owners and their families while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, OSHA, and QA/QI standards. Guide and coordinate Certified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses toward established goals, fostering culturally appropriate interactions within the core clinical team. Manage day-to-day performance of staff in a fast-paced environment serving Alaska Native and American Indian populations, with progression based on demonstrated ability to handle progressively responsible assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population
- Bachelor's degree
- two (2) years of experience as a CMA or LPN
- demonstrated proficiency working at SCF as a CMA or LPN
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- licensed in the State of Alaska as a Practical Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- ATLS certification
- ALSO certification
- PALS certification
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience as a Supervisor of CMA I level
- demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor of CMA I at SCF
- Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure
