Job Summary
Operate the facility and supervise employees under the direction of the Assistant General Manager and Supervisor Lead. Ensure shifts are sufficiently staffed, maintain the ice surface using correct resurfacing techniques, and handle all deliveries. Evaluate building maintenance needs, assist with event operations and private ice rentals, and manage close-outs, bank deposits, and safe funds. Inventories keys and radios, enforce customer service policies, and secure the facility at the end of each business day. Work 2/3rds of each month including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts
- Ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and guests
- Good oral and written communication skills
- One year of relevant experience
- Must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job that are physically demanding
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
