Job Summary
Supervisor, Nursing position overseeing nursing home staff and activities on a day shift. Responsible for staffing, resident assignment based on condition and staff skill, monitoring patient care areas, ensuring adherence to nursing process, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing training and orientation to staff. Requires knowledge of nursing practice act and standards, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to manage resources, risk, and performance improvement initiatives within a long-term/skilled care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent required
- Current unencumbered RN license in state of practice (or multi-state licensure if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in nursing leadership/management preferred
