Job Summary
Plan, organize, direct, and control radiation protection resources while ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures. Directly support and assist in the operation of the CPNPP, overseeing assigned projects and representing the department in committees, meetings, and task forces. Ensure all RP employees are trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks effectively. This role requires a B.S. in a radiological/nuclear field with four years of experience and strong leadership skills. Located in Glen Rose, Texas, within Vistra Nuclear Operations, this position contributes to the company's goal of powering a better way forward through reliable nuclear power generation.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in a radiological/nuclear field or equivalent experience in discipline
- Four Years experience in radiation protection
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience commensurate with level of assigned responsibility
- Good leadership skills
