Job Summary

Develop and implement short-term plans to lead pilot line personnel and prototyping activities for the Plasma Power group. Schedule and run all assembly and test operations while partnering with NPI Planning, Purchasing, and Design teams to meet delivery schedules and achieve quality goals. Lead improvement projects, manage staffing activities including hiring and performance appraisals, and facilitate team meetings to remove obstacles and monitor progress toward milestones. Work cross-functionally with Engineering and other key groups to establish schedules and execute projects in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other relevant field
  • Supervisory skills such as leading, coaching, and performance management
  • Organizing, prioritization, planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, and external customers
  • Facilitation skills to lead meetings
  • Ability to manage daily workflow as required to meet departmental and customer requirements
  • Demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity
  • Skilled in ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP
  • MS standard Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate and negotiate effectively and to set priorities
  • Experience in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment, and/or fast-paced prototyping environment
  • Background in electronics and/or electro-mechanical manufacturing
  • Six Sigma Lean certification
