Job Summary
Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing systems. Champion a proactive safety-first culture by adhering to NEC, NFPA, 70E, and OSHA standards while diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues. Manage major repairs, overhauls, and emergency breakdowns for pumps, motors, conveyors, and specialized machinery, minimizing production disruption. Drive continuous improvement through reliability-centered maintenance, predictive analysis, and Lean initiatives to optimize uptime and reduce waste. Oversee contractor work, maintain accurate documentation, and balance weekly scheduling to optimize resource utilization within the maintenance budget.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 5+ years demonstrated industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in a continuous manufacturing process
- 5+ years previous industrial electrical, mechanical and automation experience
- 1+ years of previous leadership experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team player
- Able to influence and lead others over whom he/she has no direct authority
- Willing to drive for change in the interest of continuous improvement

- Advanced knowledge of CMMS/Inventory Management software
- Intermediate proficiency in G suite
- Advanced proficiency using root cause analysis to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Advanced of industrial electrical systems, motor control theory, and NEC, NFPA, 70E and industrial control guidelines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&ID's and technical manuals
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues with PLC logic, HMI applications and automation network communications
- Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques for electrical and automation equipment
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team building skills with commitment to talent development
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Intermediate knowledge of operational processes and how maintenance activities can impact them

Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation technology, Mechatronics or related field
- Technical School training/certification
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Experience with an inventory management system (CMMS)
