Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of cleaning and building services for assigned areas, ensuring work meets contract specifications and company directives. Train employees in proper procedures, assign duties, and mentor newly hired custodians. Inspect scheduled work, maintain daily logs of discrepancies, and sign inspection reports on behalf of Chimes DC. Manage daily supplies, verify leave requests, and ensure staff compliance with safety, security, and dress code policies. Report malfunctioning fixtures, inventory supplies, and complete time studies and appraisals. Act as Manager in absence and respond promptly to calls from project managers. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned while adhering to Chimes DC Quality Control Program guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR/FR certification
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience within the past four (4) years in directing cleaning type operations for buildings of the approximate size of the building(s) to be cleaned under this contract
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of building service management relevant equipment, chemicals, and their applications
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to go up and down stairs
- Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, and, stoop
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions
- Ability to see details on the floor, above the head, or on surfaces
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and with safety always in mind
