Job Summary
Oversee daily MIS operations and maintenance to ensure data integrity, system efficiency, and support business decision-making. Supervise the MIS team by coordinating activities, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and guiding professional development. Manage the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of MIS applications and databases while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures. Develop and implement MIS policies, procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with various departments to understand data requirements and provide appropriate MIS solutions and reports. Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, data trends, and project status to management. Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. Manage vendor relationships for software and hardware solutions related to MIS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIS
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in reporting tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and network administration is a plus
