Job Summary
Mining Supervisor to lead safe and efficient mining activities, mentor crews, and support operational performance across site. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, responsible for day-to-day mine activities at open pit operations in Western Australia, including guiding crews, ensuring safety and productivity, and contributing to ongoing growth. Requires a C Class Manual Driver’s Licence and S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification, with 5+ years in open pit mining or quarrying, plus strong leadership, communication, and Microsoft Office skills. FIFO roster is 15/13 from Perth to Leonora; Genesis Mining Services emphasizes teamwork and an inclusive, safety-focused work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
- S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an open pit mining or quarrying environment, including machinery operation
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and foster positive working relationships
