Job Summary
Lead and develop open-pit mining Load & Haul teams as a Mining Supervisor. Drive safety-focused operations, coach and develop crew, conduct pit inspections, investigate incidents, optimise fleet utilisation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve safety, production, and cost targets. Requires extensive supervisory experience in open-pit mining, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with mining systems (Cat MineStar), and a current Section 26 qualification. FIFO roster from multiple Australian locations (Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra).
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a supervisory role within open-pit mining operations
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to engage, develop and empower diverse teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current Section 26 qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining-related systems
- Sound understanding of performance drivers in large-scale autonomous mining operations with Cat MineStar experience highly regarded
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment
