Supervisor, Merchandise Financial Planning

Job Summary
Supervisor responsible for Merchandise Financial Planning and leading a team of Merchandise Financial Planners. Focus on building and managing retail sales, margin, and inventory plans; maintaining weekly and monthly forecasts; supporting pre-season and in-season forecasting; developing seasonal ladder plans; providing data-driven analysis to inform promotional, pricing, and assortment decisions; and coaching planners on forecasting methods and best practices. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to planning standards and delivers updates on category performance, forecast accuracy, and execution status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6 years of experience in retail financial planning, merchandising, category management, or related roles
- Experience mentoring or leading others in a team-based environment
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail financial drivers
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with planning systems preferred
