Supervisor Mechanical Locomotive

Job Summary
Lead and supervise a unionized team responsible for maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on locomotives and mobile equipment across plant, yard, and road service; ensure compliance with regulations and company standards (AAR, Transport Canada, CPKC); drive operational excellence, safety-first culture, and performance metrics through coaching and proactive safety discussions; perform shift briefings and documentations to enable smooth handoffs; mentor team members to develop their skills and improve safety and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 years’ supervisory experience in logistics or an operational environment
- Ability to work all types of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays in all weather conditions
- Read and understand safety instructions, operating rules and regulations and other written or printed material in English
- Proficient in MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
