Job Summary
Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities across pumping stations, supervising mechanics and helpers; plan resources, schedules, and spare parts; perform risk assessments; troubleshoot mechanical equipment; oversee installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical systems and rotating equipment; read mechanical drawings and manuals. Also lead electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (EICA) maintenance activities across pumping stations, supervising electricians and helpers; plan spare parts and resources; troubleshoot PLC/SCADA/RTU/VFD/control systems; review electrical drawings and P&IDs; ensure HSE compliance; manage daily maintenance reports; oversee MCC rooms, control panels, and related equipment. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; 4+ years supervisory experience in mechanical maintenance (and EICA where applicable); strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in pumping stations, water infrastructure, utilities, or industrial facilities (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
- Strong planning, communication, and team leadership skills
- UAE Driving License (preferred)
- For EICA: Vocational or Trade School certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation disciplines (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in EICA supervisory role (preferred)
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, RTU, VFD, MCC, and control systems (preferred)
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements and safe work practices
