Job Summary
Oversee daily delivery of reactive repairs and damp & mould works across occupied homes in Peterborough, ensuring all activities comply with contractual, legislative, and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain resident satisfaction while allocating operatives and subcontractors to meet KPIs. Manage workloads to minimise disruption, perform post-inspection quality checks, and lead performance management for the team. Liaise with residents, clients, and suppliers to coordinate repairs, support contract mobilisation, and assist with cost control and forecasting. Maintain full Health & Safety compliance and manage repairs assets including vans, tools, and materials. Work 42.5 hours per week with a company van and fuel card provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a Supervisor role within social housing
- Experience delivering damp & mould and property condition works
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards within housing repairs
- Relevant City & Guilds (or equivalent) trade qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven ability to lead and manage damp & mould focused repairs teams
- Resident‐focused communicator with a practical, solutions‐driven approach
- Well organised, decisive, and effective in a fast‐paced repairs environment
- Confident working with systems, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Entitlement to work within the UK
- Age over 21
- Held licence over 3 months
- Less than 9 points on licence
- Ability to attend toolbox talks, repairs briefings, training, and company meetings
- Ability to ensure all repairs activities reflect company values and a professional service at all times
