Job Summary
Supervises a team in the dispensing of medical supplies and patient care equipment. Ensures adequate supply levels are maintained, verifies documentation for sending/receiving supplies, and ensures patient charge capture for accurate billing. Provides technical and operational training to new hires, and implements plans to improve quality and efficiency of services. Demonstrates capabilities in compliance, people management, inventory management, operations planning, and leadership to drive results in Vanderbilt Health’s supply chain environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years relevant work experience
- Supervisory/People Management experience
- Inventory management
- Leadership in a healthcare or supply chain setting
- Ability to ensure accurate patient charge capture and billing
