Job Summary
Supervisor, Manufacturing role leading shift workers and coordinating with the Production Manager to achieve manufacturing KPIs. Responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, leading a group of Sr Technicians and operators to ensure smooth production lines with high quality, coordinating daily production meetings, preparing pass-down reports, and acting as backup for the Operations Manager. Responsibilities also cover production and process optimization, monitoring machine utilization, utilizing tools like Spotfire, DDA, and Factory Look, supporting new product qualifications and process evaluations, managing WIP/inventory, working with test engineers on test operations, and implementing continuous improvements with engineers. Required skills include leadership and supervision, knowledge of process KPIV/KPOV, quality and safety KPI control, 7S housekeeping, MESA transactions, IMS/RBA standards compliance, and experience with FMEA, 8D, SPC, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing or quality improvement projects is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
