Job Summary

Coordinate and supervise daily and weekly manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives are consistently achieved. Lead Team Leads and Operators on scale-up, exhibit, characterization, and validation batches while conducting periodic reviews of documentation for accuracy and cGMP compliance. Prioritize work activities, monitor productivity, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Resolve routine and complex manufacturing challenges through technical troubleshooting and risk-based decision-making. Train and mentor employees on procedures and SOPs to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety policies, DEA Controlled Substance SOPs, and FDA regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade School, or Vocational School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including: Granulation, Blending and mixing, Compression (AWC machines), Coating, Encapsulation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding production schedules
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and engage employees
  • Self-starter with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Willingness to work extended hours when business needs require
  • Strong understanding of cGMP requirements
  • Strong understanding of SOP compliance
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations
  • Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical manufacturing standards
  • Strong understanding of Workplace safety requirements
  • English language proficiency at CEFR Intermediate B1+ level
  • Must be able to lift, move, and/or carry 50–75 pounds
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including: Respirators, Safety glasses/goggles, Safety shoes
  • Must be available for 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
