Job Summary
Lead daily maintenance activities by supervising technician assignments, prioritizing work based on safety and production impact, and coordinating breakdown response and recovery. Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout regulations, complete preventive maintenance on schedule, and monitor backlog and downtime metrics. Provide coaching and performance management for technicians while partnering with operations to minimize equipment downtime. Support maintenance documentation accuracy and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Perform heavy lifting up to 85 lbs. and push/pull up to 280 lbs. during 8-hour shifts in a packaging environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment systems
- Ability to lead and supervise skilled maintenance employees
- Skill in work prioritization and breakdown management
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues at a high level
- Ability to communicate clearly across functions
- Ability to hold team members accountable for safety and quality
- Functional near, far and peripheral vision
- Functional hearing
- Heavy lifting capability up to 85 lbs
- Pushing/pulling capability up to 280 lbs
