Job Summary
Supervise daily maintenance activities and technician assignments, prioritizing work based on safety, production impact, and equipment criticality. Coordinate breakdown response and recovery while ensuring preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout and safety regulations, provide coaching and feedback for technicians, and partner with operations to minimize downtime. Monitor maintenance backlog, downtime, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. Lead a team of maintenance technicians in a packaging environment involving 8-hour shifts, with responsibilities for heavy lifting and pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience
- Ability to lead and supervise skilled maintenance employees
- Skill in work prioritization and breakdown management
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues at a high level
- Ability to communicate clearly across functions
- Ability to hold team members accountable for safety and quality
- Functional near, far and peripheral vision
- Functional hearing
- Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs
- Pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment systems
