Supervisor, Manufacturing - DAP (Night shift)

Job Summary

Lead a team of technicians and direct equipment use to meet production, quality, safety, and cost targets in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Confirm process execution meets standards through regular confirmations, coordinate shift staffing and coverage, and drive continuous improvement using KPIs and team-based problem solving. Partner with MSAT and Engineering to resolve process problems, participate in new equipment qualification, and maintain product flow across shifts. Ensure cGMP compliance, investigate deviations, and manage team training and development while holding the shift accountable to EHS standards. This night shift role operates 6pm to 6:30am on a rotating schedule. Resilience is a biomanufacturing company building sustainable, high-tech manufacturing solutions to better withstand disruptive events and serve scientific discovery.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of packaging or manufacturing operations in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other cGMP-regulated environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team while exercising independent judgment on routine operations
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams on initiatives that affect the DAP Operation
  • Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Computer applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related science, or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment, including previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge or previous experience in managing technical programs/projects
  • Training or experience in formulation, filling, packaging, validation, technology transfer, change control
  • Basic knowledge of generative AI language tools such as Claude
  • Ability to pass eye exam during onboarding
  • Specific visual skills, including extensive reading or computer use, normal color vision, depth perception, and visual acuity
  • Specific hearing requirements, including interpreting sounds at volume levels consistent with interpersonal or group conversations, interpreting letters and numbers viewed on a computer screen, monitor, reports, and other documents, and identifying and distinguishing colors
  • Must be available for Night Shift - 6pm-630am with a 12-hour rotation on a 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, 3 nights off with the rotation starting over
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at Heights of 5 ft.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach
  • Must be able to operate vehicles
  • Must be able to operate moving machinery
  • Must be able to use personal protective equipment, which can include respirators, Personal Air Purifying Respirators [PAPR], gowns, gloves, face protection, other barrier equipment, etc.
