Job Summary
Supervisor, Manufacturing Assembly based in Raritan, NJ, leads end-to-end lentiviral vector manufacturing operations in a sterile cGMP environment for commercial products. Responsibilities include directing daily production tasks, leading start-of-shift and wrap-up meetings, ensuring compliance with SOPs and batch records, supporting manufacturing investigations and change controls, developing and revising operational procedures, partnering with Manufacturing Investigations, Facilities, Engineering, and Quality, driving process optimization and continuous improvements, and mentoring production personnel. Required: Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); 2–4 years of cGMP manufacturing experience; aseptic manufacturing background; strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work flexible shifts and travel up to 10%; proficiency with Microsoft Office; physical capability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience required
- A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of operations experience within a cGMP environment in the biotech/biopharma industry is preferred
- Prior experience in an aseptic manufacturing environment and leadership positions
- Experience with Operational Excellence and/or Lean Manufacturing is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required
- Ability to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts as per operational needs
- Experience working in cGMP systems including MES lite, eLIMs, Siemens, and SAP is preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and to stand for a long period of time are required
- This position may require up to 10% of domestic travel
