Job Summary
Monitor compounding operations and batch processing to ensure adherence to cGMPs, safety protocols, and production schedules. Coordinate activities of technicians for blending, weighing, and tank unloading while enforcing SOPs and conducting real-time floor observations. Assign tasks, adjust work procedures, and manage daily production meetings to address schedule discrepancies and process deviations. Investigate incidents, write corrective action plans, and maintain accurate batch records and safety reports. Evaluate employee performance, recommend personnel actions, and oversee training and development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- Demonstrated supervisory and administrative skills
- Demonstrated leadership and management traits include the ability to motivate people while engendering their respect and support
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Strong math and calculating skills
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing or chemical processing
- Experience in the personal care industry
- Two (2) years' supervisory experience
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and implement technical writing instructions
- Possess a forklift certification or the ability to obtain a certification
- Ability to work on any shift and occasional weekend shift if needed

- SAP or ERP knowledge preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred
- Experience in the personal care industry
- Operational knowledge of production equipment
- Experience with PLC controlled batch and or blend processing operations
