Job Summary
Supervisor, Maintenance oversees rotating equipment maintenance in the refinery, directing maintenance mechanics, planning daily work, leading safety discussions, and driving productivity. The role communicates performance expectations, participates in kickoff meetings, coordinates with other groups, and manages planning functions for rotating equipment including work scope, estimates, and resource requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s in engineering (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years in maintenance with 3+ years in supervisory roles; will work in a 24/7 refinery environment and utilize SAP and MS Office while prioritizing safety and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline plus 4 years of experience in a maintenance environment OR minimum 8 years of experience in a maintenance environment in lieu of engineering degree
- 3+ years’ supervisory or process management experience, preferably in a union environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience preferred
- Hard trade experience/certification preferred
- Must be able to respond to 24/7 call-ins, work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends
