Job Summary
Oversee, plan, and issue work orders for equipment modifications, preventative, and corrective maintenance while coordinating repairs with production and scheduling. Remain active on the floor for hands-on troubleshooting, enforce plant rules, monitor attendance, and conduct safety inspections to correct unsafe conditions. Generate maintenance logs, prepare purchase requisitions, and interface with vendors for parts and repairs. Participate in Lean Manufacturing practices including Six Sigma and 8D problem analysis, ensure employee training in safety and quality, and review KPIs to improve plant operations and OEE. Serve as backup to the Maintenance Manager and perform other assigned duties. Requires an associates degree, electrical troubleshooting experience, and at least one year leading in manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree and/or technical school certification
- Experience with electrical trouble shooting and repair
- At least one year of experience leading/supervising in a manufacturing operation
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills and ability to be a team player
- Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment preferred
- SAP knowledge preferred
