Job Summary
Lead a team of CNC operators and people leaders on the Ops floor, managing daily work assignments and driving strategic operations to support Terran R's manufacturing scale. Mentor staff to develop personal career goals while identifying process gaps and analyzing their impact on production systems. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine part designs and implement key system improvements for highly controlled aerospace products. This second-shift role runs 3pm to 1:30am PT, Monday through Friday, with a baseline 50-hour workweek and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their impact on the production system
- Experience administrating/delegating daily work assignments to your team
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Full ownership and accountability over several teams of CNC operators
- Lead the team of people leaders for the Ops floor
- Support longer-term strategic operations on the shop floor
- Mentor and coach your team to develop their personal career goals
- This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3pm-1:30am PT, Monday through Friday
- baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek
- occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals
- 10% shift differential
