Job Summary
Direct and supervise the 24-hour care of assigned elders within an elder-directed care model, implementing and evaluating comprehensive plans of care. Facilitate effective communication of elder needs to the clinical support team while ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs, and LPNs within 24-hour teams, fostering professional growth and teamwork in a transformational setting. Work full-time night shifts (4x10 or 3x12 hours) at Seward Medical Center, requiring an Alaska RN license, BLS certification, and one year of gerontological nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Clinical nursing
- Gerontological nursing
