Job Summary
Oversee line maintenance operations and supervise personnel, managing SMS activities including hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety control effectiveness. Coordinate aircraft maintenance for both company and contract fleets, determine shift priorities, and ensure all tools meet National Bureau of Standards requirements. Monitor maintenance performance, audit aircraft records, and administer corrective action for non-compliance while maintaining green risk levels. Provide timely aircraft status updates, ensure proper training for all staff, and assist in formulating departmental policies and budgets. Work a varying schedule including at least one week of graveyard shifts per month, with 40+ hours weekly, in a high-noise environment.
Required Qualifications
- FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- 3 years previous line maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory, lead or directing workforce experience
- previous leadership experience
- Excellent working knowledge of company maintenance policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a stressful environment
- Ability to communicate in an effective, calm and professional manner at all times
- Ability to lead and motivate maintenance personnel in a positive and professional manner
- General computer and administrative skills

- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and administrate workloads to subordinates
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts

- Must pass pre-employment testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids and Phencyclidine (PCP)
