Job Summary
Maintain a safe working environment by executing safety policies, issuing permits, and supervising a team to ensure compliance. Coordinate maintenance activities, maximize operational performance, and train employees on proper protocols. Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly, and monthly audits while troubleshooting plant operational issues. Respond to injuries or accidents and maintain administrative records to hold employees accountable. Ensure working areas remain within environmental limits and permits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in management
- minimum of 3 years of experience in waste processing or related field
- 8-hour DOT Certification Training (Or ability to complete)
- 10-hour OSHA Training (Or ability to complete)
- 8-hour HAZWOPER Training (Or ability to complete)
- good judgement and problem-solving skills
- attention to detail and time management
- computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
