Job Summary
Oversee store operations, assist the Store Manager in daily store activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include sharing product knowledge to meet customer needs, performing front-end duties (cash register, bagging, displays), maintaining a clean store and stock room, supporting markdowns/re-tickets/labeling, and aiding with events. Requires ability to work indoors/outdoors, stand up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and interact with a variety of animals. Opportunities for growth include management training and grooming-apprenticeship programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets.
- Professional retail sales experience preferred.
- Professional supervisory experience preferred.
- Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
- Time management and organizational skills.
