Job Summary
Support store operations and drive sales by serving in a team member capacity to deliver key performance metrics. Supervise team members, support their training, and foster a welcoming atmosphere while resolving customer issues and ensuring compliance with alcohol sales laws. Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and inventory standards while adhering to all applicable regulations. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, lifting 50 lbs overhead and standing for 8-10 hours daily. This role contributes to Total Wine & More's expansion as America's largest independent retailer of wine, spirits, and beer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- 1+ year of proven experience in a supervisory role within a retail setting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player mindset
- Experience resolving customer issues
- Coaching peers
- Familiarity with the point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Must be able to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- Must be able to work in various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
- Ability to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol
- Ability to maintain a safe and compliant store environment
- Ability to maintain store safety and cleanliness standards across the store
