Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day activities within a designated section of the construction site, leading Section Site Supervisors and Assistant Site Supervisors to ensure tasks meet programme and quality requirements. Monitor subcontractor and workforce performance for contract compliance while implementing health, safety, environmental, and quality practices. Maintain accurate records including daily logs, inspection reports, and material usage. Support the General Site Supervisor in planning, resource allocation, and prioritisation, identifying risks to escalate issues as needed. Participate in site briefings and toolbox talks to communicate requirements, mentor junior staff, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Trade or technical background with site supervision experience
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety training
- Temporary works and excavation safety training
- Working at heights and scaffolding training
- Lifting and cranage operations training
- Other HSEQS training as required by site HSE plan
- Awareness of BIM strategy and construction technology
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Sisk internal management programme
- Project management qualification or course
- Relevant diploma or degree in construction or engineering
