SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
Provide leadership and supervision to a group or team of employees, working collaboratively with plant leadership to ensure efficient production targets are met. Lead team leads and production personnel to communicate daily shift objectives, assign operational tasks, and provide ongoing feedback. Manage employee schedules, approve timecards, and partner with Human Resources to resolve relations issues and support hiring. Implement and enforce safety policies, conduct audits, and enforce quality standards while identifying equipment downtime and root causes. Maintain high standards of plant organization and facilitate communication through shift logs. Monday through Friday, 4am-12pm.
Required Qualifications
- Language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively and professionally to customers or employees of organization
- Mathematic skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills including facilitation, coaching, training and conflict resolution
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs such as MS Office and internal systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of Supervisor or Leadership experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
