Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and support Elementary, Secondary, and Content Instructional Coaches through ongoing mentoring, professional development, and the implementation of a comprehensive coaching model. Establish observation protocols, feedback processes, and coaching cycles to ensure consistency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct observations of coaches, facilitate calibration activities, and design professional learning opportunities to build instructional leadership capacity. Monitor coaching impact on teacher practice and student achievement by analyzing performance data, supporting Professional Learning Communities, and identifying strategic opportunities for program enhancement. Collaborate with district leaders to align coaching efforts with organizational priorities and maintain accurate records of coaching activities and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of successful educational experience, including classroom teaching and instructional leadership
- Extensive knowledge of instructional coaching models, adult learning theory, and professional learning best practices
- Strong understanding of effective instructional strategies, curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and teacher development
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate coaching systems that improve instructional quality and student outcomes
- Experience analyzing coaching, teacher performance, and student achievement data to inform strategic decision-making
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to lead professional learning for instructional staff
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
- Must be available for remote (home-office) infrastructure
