Job Summary
Support Installation Manager(s) in leading the installation, project management, and service teams to increase branch operating profit through coaching and training focused on improving first time through rates, remakes, and installation knowledge. Complete a minimum of two days of ride-along field training per week using observation and demonstration, then debrief with managers to provide performance feedback and develop specific training plans. Analyze individual and team metrics to identify focus areas for improvement in construction, service, and homeowner satisfaction knowledge. Partner with branch leadership to resolve open issues, support back-office process improvements, and deliver monthly product knowledge meetings. Meet or exceed planned margins and revenue goals by managing a capable workforce and utilizing outsourcing appropriately. Lead safety initiatives for installation associates, ensure regulatory training completion, and participate on the CORO Safety Committee. Directly train, manage, and coach all employees and subcontractors involved in the installation process.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the home improvement or other closely related field
- Computer skills and management of computer-based information
- Customer Orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and lead in a team environment
- Basic financial knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, preferred
- Previous work experience recruiting and managing independent contractors, preferred
