Job Summary
Monitor production, quality control, and data integrity of staff transactions while conducting specified levels of file quality control. Ensure staff meet NMA performance standards and comply with Housing Authority plans, standard operating procedures, and HUD regulations. Coordinate training, coaching, and performance evaluations, including disciplinary actions, while approving time sheets. Provide professional customer service to internal and external clients, landlords, and vendors. Evaluate procedures for program excellence and promote open communication across teams. Obtain Housing Choice Voucher Specialist and Executive Management certification within 120 days. Lead 5-12 employees under direct supervision of a manager or assistant program director. Attend weekly or monthly meetings depending on the project.
Required Qualifications
- Education equivalent to a four-year degree from a regionally accredited institution in Public Administration, Social Science or a closely related field
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Ability to read, interpret and understand and apply regulations, Federal, State, local laws and codes
- Strong problem solving skills
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including: Excel, Word, Outlook
