Job Summary
Manage the Specialized Trauma-Informed Treatment, Assessment and Reunification (STTAR) Program as the acting administrator for each assigned shift. Receive possession of shelter keys and shift information from previous supervisors, then maintain accountability for all residents throughout the shift. Supervise Child Care Workers, directly intervene in acting out behaviors, and oversee safety and stability of all children. Perform intakes of new admissions, administer medications, and ensure completion of all documentation including incident reports and shift logs. Train staff on STTAR procedures, recreational activities, and agency policies while serving as a positive role model. Maintain knowledge of resident needs, cultural sensitivities, and state certifications. Be available for on-call, back-up, and emergency shift coverage. Requires a valid driver's license for transporting residents; no telework capability.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree
- extensive experience in working with children and adolescents in a residential setting
