Job Summary
Lead daily production operations on a night-shift compress schedule (Sunday–Wednesday) in Alajuela, Costa Rica, directing assigned personnel to ensure production efficiency, effectiveness, and proper training. Own full personnel leadership including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee relations. Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE, and QMS requirements; set production plans, priorities, and resource allocation; monitor performance and resolve operational issues. Maintain quality, safety, and operational standards; drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing activities; lead corrective actions from audits and operational findings. Strong teams leadership with proven ability to coach, develop, and evaluate staff; proficient in production systems, labor relations, manufacturing methods, production planning, and assembly operations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production environments
- Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Experience in medical device industry preferred
- Computer skills: email, records management, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, basic data reporting
