Job Summary
Supervise ramp agents and lead the unloading/loading of luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft, while moving cargo between aircraft, terminals, and air cargo facilities. Oversee safety compliance, provide training and mentoring, participate in hiring and evaluations, complete shift reports, read and interpret aircraft weight/balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, and routing tags, operate motorized equipment, and ensure adherence to company safety regulations. Role requires heavy lifting, working in all weather, and flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to read/write/speak English, and successful completion of pre-employment screenings; FBI background and US Customs Seal are required.”,
Required Qualifications
- Prior Ramp/Airline experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
- Must have read and signed the Station Quality Manual, Emergency Response Procedures Manual and the Station Security Manual
- Must have high school diploma, GED
