Job Summary
Oversee and optimize warehouse operations as Warehouse Supervisor I in Austin, TX. Define and execute best practices for the warehouse; supervise Material Handlers; establish and supervise a daily task program; support development groups with material distribution; manage daily cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy in the ERP system; oversee all shipping and receiving activities; maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas; manage Epicor transactions between warehouses and pilot operations; revise documentation for material receipts and related Epicor transactions; ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies; coordinate part management with Buyer, Pilot Operations, and Quality; lead a self-managed team, coaching and supervising staff to meet operational requirements; required to read and interpret safety rules and procedures, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and employees; possess strong math, data entry, and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with priority-setting in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Direct warehouse operations experience 4-5 years
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Good written and oral English communication skills
- College degree preferred
- Epicor or other ERP experience preferred
