Job Summary
Lead weekly crew visits with General Foremen to develop project management and safety leadership skills, reviewing underperforming jobs to create action plans. Implement the Corporate Safety Program through training sessions and tailgate meetings, while investigating and settling accident claims efficiently. Ensure high-quality arboricultural work via QA/QC processes and maintain equipment repair and preventative maintenance procedures. Build communication cadences with existing customers to drive satisfaction and retention, and foster relationships with potential clients as assigned. Maintain open dialogue with Division Managers on operational activities and administer all company policies and procedures. Utilize job costing reports to identify efficiency and cost control issues, improving business trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Foreman in vegetation management or related experience
- Have a safety champion attitude
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of reviewing and preparing estimates for fixed price lump-sum bids
- Basic and practicable technology knowledge including E-mail, Microsoft Office, and Smartphones
- Able and willing to travel via ground or air transportation. Emergencies may require extended out of town stay
- Must have ISA Certified Arborist and/or ISA Utility Specialist Certification and/or ISA Certified Tree Worker after one year of employment with support of the company
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) would be a plus
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to identify local tree species
- Ability to learn new programs
- QA/QC assessment experience
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
